ABOUT THE OBJECT
The Castle of the Bishops of Chełmno, dating from 1260-1826, has undergone revitalization work, including archaeological and conservation work, to protect and preserve this historic building. The usable functions of the castle's basement and first floor have been restored, adapting them for cultural and social activities. The castle is open to the public, and exhibitions of movable relics found during the revitalization are held in areas open to the public. The courtyard of the castle is also used for cultural purposes, increasing the tourist attractiveness of the site.
